Sponsorship Opportunity: Attend the 14th Annual Global Health Supply Chain Virtual Summit (Application Enclosed)

The International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL) enables people working in public health supply chains, especially in the global south, to connect, learn, and succeed. The association envisions a world where strong, well-run supply chains reach all people with life-saving health products, and supports logisticians worldwide by providing a forum for members to network, exchange ideas, and improve skills. Building on this work, IAPHL will be sponsoring a group of 50 members to participate in the GHSC Annual Summit scheduled for December 7-9, 2021.

The GHSC Annual Summit will focus on “Building for the Future: Review, Recovery, and Refocusing.” Global Health Supply Chains have been under tremendous stress to address the burden of COVID-19 while continuing to meet routine healthcare delivery needs. The conference will explore these issues through a combination of keynotes, panel discussions, and contributed talks or posters from a collection of experts that include representatives from government, academics, NGOs, civil society, industry, donor, and multilateral organizations.

The sponsorship will cover conference registration fees. Sponsorship beneficiaries will be required to share their conference experiences with other members by posting at least one submission to the listserv that identifies a key learning point.

Members’ eligibility for sponsorship selection will be based on the following:

Must work in the public sector preferably for a local organization that cannot afford to sponsor him/her to attend the conference Membership and strong participation in their IAPHL country chapter, discussions, and activities will be an added bonus Have not received a sponsorship or scholarship from IAPHL in the past Please note the secretariat wishes to have as many countries represented as possible

The association is also interested in how you plan to use knowledge acquired at the conference to improve the supply chain that you work in.
