Routine health services and immunization campaigns are one of the most effective and cost-efficient health solutions in the history of the world – they are the backbone of strong and responsive health systems, and we must ensure they continue on. People should have access to the care they deserve and community health workers must have the ability to keep serving and saving lives.
We cannot lose years of progress when it comes to preventable diseases, we must put primary health care front and center moving forward – it’s the only way we will emerge strong after the COVID-19 dust has settled.
