Delivering available COVID-19 vaccines to vulnerable communities is the next big challenge.
In a country like the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), a lack of dedicated funding for the distribution of vaccines and vaccine hesitancy in communities are complicating the country’s vaccination efforts. On top of that, poor road infrastructure and vast distances to cover has made it very difficult to transport doses outside its capital, Kinshasa.

DRC is not alone.  Many countries in sub-Saharan African are struggling to access the dedicated resources needed to quickly distribute the vaccine and build community confidence.  Your gift supports our efforts to:

•    Deliver vaccines to hard-to-reach communities  
•    Improve vaccine supply data and visibility
•    Inform communities about the vaccine to encourage vaccinations
•    Prepare frontline health workers to provide surge staffing
