New tuberculosis vaccines are approaching a critical stage of development, making it essential for countries to begin preparing for their introduction now. Partnership between national TB and Immunization programs and partners are particularly strategic to make this work. Join the Sabin Vaccine Institute’s Boost Community (Boost) and the Stop TB Partnership on Thursday, October 8 at 1:00 - 2:30 PM UTC.

The session will feature perspectives and concrete plans from TB and immunization experts in Brazil, Indonesia, and South Africa, highlighting opportunities for collaboration across national TB programs, immunization programs, policymakers, health workers, and communities.

Together, speakers will discuss:

-Current country readiness for the introduction of new TB vaccines

-The roles of TB and immunization programs in planning and implementation

-Opportunities to strengthen coordination across programs

-Key policy, delivery, communication, and community engagement considerations

-Practical lessons that can inform early readiness efforts in other countries

Country presentations will be followed by a moderated panel discussion and an opportunity for participants to submit questions to the speakers.
