Women across the globe are leading immunization programs, shaping policy, and driving community impact, yet their experiences, challenges, and leadership pathways are too often under-recognized.
In honor of International Women's Month, the Sabin Vaccine Institute’s Boost Community is pleased to invite you to the second session of the BoostHER Special Dialogue Series, a three-part global virtual dialogue spotlighting women’s leadership in immunization and advancing gender-responsive practice across the sector.
Session 2:Gender-Responsive Immunization in Action: Showcase of Useful Gender Equity Tools
This session will convene immunization professionals from around the world for an interactive dialogue that:
Introduce specific gender-responsive planning tools and how they have been adapted to local contexts
Generate discussion around these tools and others, and how participants have utilized them in their own work
Solicit feedback on what new or different tools could be helpful in ensuring equity in immunization programming
Participants will engage in facilitated small-group discussions, share useful tools and resources used in the field, and contribute to a session brief that will inform future Boost programming and advocacy.
