Dear colleagues,

All are welcome to join the Health Data Collaborative (HDC) facilitated event on DHIS2 COVID-19 packages (attached and summary below), presented by University of Oslo, with  opportunities for questions and discussion.

There will be two opportunities to join the webex calls, to accommodate different time zones – please feel free to disseminate to interested colleagues:

MEETING ONE: Wednesday 29 April 14:00-15:00 CET. https://who.webex.com/who/j.php?MTID=m580b376c79e1a086f457ed8661f7e7c7.

MEETING TWO: Thursday 30 April 10:00-11:00 CET: https://who.webex.com/who/j.php?MTID=m9504c6e493593c6c5b8407e2c6e84833

The DHIS2 COVID-19 digital data packages include standard metadata aligned with WHO’s technical guidance on COVID-19 surveillance and case definitions and implementation guidance to enable rapid deployment in countries. With 60+ countries using DHIS2 as a national health information platform, it enables countries to leverage existing DHIS2 systems and in-country capacity to quickly get started with electronic surveillance of the COVID-19 pandemic. The packages allow for mobile data entry via the DHIS2 Capture App and support workflows and automated analysis for key components of routine and active surveillance: case-based; contact tracing; port of entry registry and follow up; line listing; aggregated reporting.

Thank you,

HDC secretariat
