WHO Global Youth Competition on Influenza and COVID-19 Prevention and Control

Dear colleagues,

The World Health Organization (WHO) has launched its first Global Youth Competition on Influenza and COVID-19 Prevention and Control, inviting young people aged 18–35 years to submit creative videos on how to protect themselves and their loved ones from influenza and/or COVID-19.

Whether through storytelling, animation, poem, or another creative format, participants are encouraged to share messages that can inspire healthier communities around the world.

The competition is open for video submissions until Sunday, 13 September 2026 (23:59 CEST).
