Dear Tshewang
Good question - and there is no straight forward answer.
In every refrigerator, the temperatures at the bottom, the middle and the top section, are slightly different. Even though the display says 4°C, it is possible the top is at 6°C and the bottom at 2°C.
These differences may also increase due to several factors such as icing, bad vaccine load conditions etc, so there may be instances where temperatures get close or below 0°C.
The 30DTR is naturally positioned at the top so users can easily see and verify it, but the problem with that is, it only shows you the temperature in that specific spot, and not in others,
so you may think everything is ok, but it is not.
Modern ILRs do come with freeze protection and technically everything should be ok. What I would recommned to do, is to switch the position of 30DTR regularly also to the lower sections of the fridge, and by doing so, you get an idea of how the temperature profile is and if there are any weak spots.
Most important is to make sure the fridge is regularly undergoing routine maintenance, by cleaning the condenser and compressor compartment and also making sure it is not iced up inside and the lid gasket seals well, by doing so you can expect always the same performance from your refrigerator.
Feel free to reach out if you need more info.
