Key components influencing the immunization service experience (SE) (Credit: JSI/Cindy Pak-Kim)The Service Experience Toolkit introduces the immunization service experience (SE) concept, particularly to country-level Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) staff and implementing partners. The five toolkit products are meant to ignite discussion around how EPIs can address and improve the delivery and experience of immunization services.

The toolkit can be used to:

  • Orient – build a shared understanding of SE and its importance, and kickstart advocacy efforts to address SE through programmatic activities.
  • Discuss – determine specific components of SE are challenging in country contexts, promising interventions or ideas, and possible operational barriers.
  • Plan – develop a clear action plan to improve SE components, leveraging multi-year planning and funding processes (e.g. cMYP/NIS, FPP, etc.) where possible.

The toolkit is available in
English and will soon be available in French.
