Dear TechNet Members,

Are you also facing challenges with vaccine supply security and would like to strengthen your preparedness to vaccine stockouts? Our next webinar – the second in our strategic vaccine procurement series, that will take place on Thursday, 16 April, at 1pm GMT+2 – is then for you! The event will allow you to better understand what practical strategies you can leverage to prevent vaccine supply risks, thanks to the experience and lessons learnt that will be shared by government partners from Georgia, Liberia and Canada, who is also our subject-matter expert for the whole series and will build upon what they presented during our last webinar (see Strategic Vaccine Procurement Series resources below).

Many of our VPPN members have pointed out that the lack of preparation in case of stockouts is a recurring concern. Reviewing the whole procurement strategy is essential to address this issue, as well as linking together each area of the procurement cycle, instead of considering them as “standalone activities”. When seeing these activities as a continuous process that builds upon each other, countries will be able to identify when the activities need to be completed in order to avoid stockouts, and understand how they all inform and impact each other.

The webinar will be held in English, French and Russian and take place on Zoom, on Thursday, 16 April 2026, from 1pm to 2.05pm GMT+2.
To take part in it, you need to register here. Please, note that registration is compulsory and that, once registered, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with the link to the webinar.

Do not hesitate to share any question you have on the subject in the comments below. Our panellists will be happy to answer you during the event or on the platform.

All relevant details and resources on this webinar and the whole series are available below.

To gain access to all VPPN resources, please feel free to join the VPPN if you are a vaccine procurement professional. To do so, go to the VPPN group, and click join. Your request will be reviewed before approval. If you would like to invite someone who is not a TechNet member to join the VPPN, please send them to the TechNet registration page, where they will need to click on VPPN at the bottom of the page.

As usual, we are looking forward to seeing you at this event. And in the meantime, you can contact me, through the platform or by email at [email protected], for any question or request you might have.

Kind regards,
Dyuti
