Title of the session: COVID-19 Vaccines Impact Modelling - Key Issues to know about Modeled Evidence to Inform Prioritization and Delivery

Epidemiological modeling has been used to inform policy responses to and public communication regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. This webinar will describe the global-level processes for reviewing and integrating modeling into WHO COVID-19 vaccination policies and strategies; share findings from recent modeling work on COVID-19 vaccination strategies commissioned to inform WHO’s Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE); and highlight key considerations for commissioning and using modeling to inform COVID-19 vaccination decision making at regional and national levels. Stakeholders from country Ministries of Health, NITAGs, and partner organizations (country/ regional/ global) who are supporting countries with COVID-19 vaccination rollout and strategies around public health and social measures (PHSMs) are encouraged to join this webinar.
