Next session Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine: Planning and Implementation
Vaccination is one of the effective interventions to prevent high morbidity and mortality due to COVID-19. Among the COVID-19 vaccines approved under Emergency Use Listing (EUL), only Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine requires storage at ultra-low temperature. Only very few countries have experience managing vaccine in this storage condition. This session aims to guide countries in establishing ultra-cold chain system with appropriate equipment and support health workers in implementing delivery strategies to ensure populations at risk are reached and administered with potent Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
