Join Nethope, FCDO-funded COVIDaction and GPSDD to discuss vaccine allocation data challenges and solutions Covid-19 vaccines are just beginning to reach low and middle income countries (LMICs), but before they start saving lives, governments and other actors must create national vaccine allocation strategies. Data is emerging as a key priority in creating equitable and impactful strategies – however, many LMICs lack the data and easy-to-use analytic tools to effectively design these plans. On Thursday 15th April, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD) will be joining a NetHope-hosted call to discuss leveraging data to support low and middle income countries (LMICs) in their vaccine prioritization efforts. GPSDD and COVIDaction will present findings from a recent assessment on data gaps and needs in LMIC governments as it relates to Covid-19 vaccine allocation and prioritization. You will also learn about the Vaccine Data Co-Lab's open call for matchmaking funds, and opportunities to receive support. Please join to learn from other organizations’ innovative data approaches, and share your vaccine allocation data challenges with those seeking to help. High-quality data – that is accessible in easy-to-use formats – is at the foundation of equitable, transparent and efficient vaccine delivery, and feeds directly into micro-planning at the national, regional and local level. Ensuring equitable global vaccine distribution is one of the biggest challenges facing the world today. Why Attend:
