EVM website maintenance and withdrawal of EVM Assessor app from Google Play Store
Featured Resolved Locked Unanswered
Dear colleagues,

The EVM website will be unavailable for about two hours this morning from 10am CET. During this time, it will not be possible to download or upload questionnaire files on the EVM Assessor app.

This downtime is to conduct essential maintenance to the EVM server. Most importantly, the work will fix a bug in the scores shown on some heatmaps, where scores less than zero appear in certain situations.

Related to the above, for technical reasons the EVM Assessor app will be withdrawn from the Google Play Store later this week. The app will instead be made available as an Android Package Kit (APK) file that can be installed directly on Android devices. A new version of the app will be released on the Microsoft Store and Apple App Store.

Regards,

Dan

Dear all, here is an update on the status of the EVM Assessor mobile app. Later this week, we will be releasing a new version of the app on the Apple Store, Google Play Store, and Microsoft. The new app will fix a bug that affects data-collection on some devices where a non-English language is used. The release will also fix various other performance issues. We will be updating the website at the same time. I will send a further update confirming the exact update time when the EVM website will be unavailable. I will also provide update instructions for assessors who have the old app installed.
