Freeze-preventive vaccine carriers: a field evaluation in Nepal
What does it take to keep vaccines from freezing during last mile transport? This 4-minute video summarizes PATH and B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences’ work to evaluate the performance of three different freeze-preventive vaccine carriers. Conducted in the 24 health facilities of Sunsari and Dhankuta districts of Nepal, the evaluation found that these freeze safe carriers protect vaccines from freeze-damage and save health workers time.
