Multisectoral partnerships take on many forms and degrees of integration, from leveraging another sector’s resources or jointly delivering vertical programmes to a fully integrated approach with the goal of transformational change to systems, processes, and outcomes. Effective collaboration, shared political will, and commitment are needed to meet the goals of any multisectoral partnership.This compendium of case studies from four middle-income countries (MICs) reflects this spectrum of integration and highlights the promising practices, achievements, challenges, and lessons learned from each type of cross-sectoral engagement.
