Leveraging Geospatial Technologies and Data to Strengthen Immunisation Programmes

Recent experiences and evidence have demonstrated the potential benefits of using geospatial data and technologies to support immunisation programmes . However, the countries that would benefit the most from the use of geospatial health information for improving immunisation coverage and equity often lack the guidance they need to plan for and access resources for geospatial data and technology applications.

This rapid guidance document identifies the steps and key considerations for Ministries of Health (MOH) and national Expanded Programme of Immunisation (EPI) managers and their partners when planning and developing funding applications for effective and sustainable use of geospatial data and technologies.
