WHO Guidelines on the Use of Serosurveys in Support of Measles and Rubella Elimination
WHO developed guidelines to guide member states on the use of seroprevalence studies for measles and rubella. Member States endorsing the goal to eliminate measles and rubella will have to provide evidence to their National Verification Committees and eventually to the Regional Verification Commission on elimination of these two diseases. Member States can opt to conduct seroprevalence studies in an effort to provide evidence on the immune status of their population.
