2026 HPV Vaccine Delivery Learning Convening Evidence Overview
Ahead of the 2026 HPV Vaccine Delivery Learning Convening in Annecy, France (June 24–26, 2026 hosted by the Gates Foundation), an evidence overview was prepared for six thematic areas - Demand, Sustained & Optimized Delivery, Integration, Equity, Financing, and Measurement - to help the convening's 56 stakeholders take stock of the evidence landscape and identify the highest-priority learning gaps for 2026–2030.
Building on themes established at a 2024 learning convening, each evidence overview was developed through a search of the Living HPV Vaccine Delivery Evidence Repository and PubMed, complemented by targeted outreach for grey literature, yielding 241 publications and 80+ grey literature documents from 38+ organizations, all released since 2024.
Each thematic evidence overview is structured around what was known as of early 2024, the learning gaps identified at that time, and what has since emerged. This resource was shared with participants as a pre-read and served as a launch point for discussion of the evidence base during the convening. A forthcoming final report summarizes the convening outputs, including the prioritized HPV vaccine delivery learning questions.
