Liberia disbursed only 35% of primary health care funds over five years, new report finds (FrontPageAfrica)
FrontPageAfrica reports (March 2026) on a health financing report released by Public Health Initiative Liberia (PHIL) in partnership with the Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI).
The budget gap analysis found that Liberia disbursed just over one-third of the funds approved for primary health care over five years, raising concerns about sustaining critical services as international support declines.
