Liberia faces over US$1M annual vaccine bill as World Bank phases out support (FrontPageAfrica)

FrontPageAfrica reports (April 2026) that the World Bank will end its financing of traditional vaccines in Liberia from 2026, adding more than US$1 million a year to the country's immunization bill.

The article draws on the work of the Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI) and its partners on whether Liberia is ready to take on the full cost.
