Module 6: Ebola virus disease surveillance and ring vaccination
This video is the module 6 of the WHO ebola vaccination in practice course. Overview of the critical role of surveillance in Ebola ring vaccination, including case detection, alert investigation, contact tracing, laboratory confirmation, and the use of surveillance data to define rings, identify target populations, and guide vaccination activities. The criticality of coordination and collaboration between the surveillance and vaccination teams is also underlined.
