Timely reminders by Mike and Mobido - except that excluding an
indicator/criterion (such as AEFI surveillance) on the grounds that it
cannot yet be attained is very likely a sure way of helping reinforce
neglect of the activity? "You don't get what you can't measure", or suchlike.
This might be an opportunity to again look at and further improve the
annual WHO/UNICEF Joint Reporting Form, although it also remains likely
that it is at subnational (district and/or region/province) level where the
need for institutionalisation of assessment indicators for routine
programme performance is greatest.
Best regards, Alasdair
