Re-posting this useful link on a previous case study on the comparative evaluation of both public health supply chain distribution performance versus private sector distribution approach, done and published 10 years ago, by some of the most incredible colleagues in the immunization supply chains.
It is notable that the results showed that <<outsourced logistics service provider outperformed the government run supply chain system
on all relevant EVM dimensions>>. Something that could be tested in other segments of the immunization supply chain and serve as proposal and additional action lever or in combination to EPIs capacities, where stagnation or regression is being felt over the years.
