WHO position paper on dengue vaccines – May 2024
The previous 2 position papers, published in 2016 and updated in 2018, presented the WHO position on the first licensed dengue vaccine, CYD-TDV (Dengvaxia, Sanofi). This paper focuses on the second licensed dengue vaccine, TAK-003 (Qdenga, Takeda), along with WHO’s position for its use, and provides an update on the first licensed dengue vaccine, CYD-TDV.
