Update on immunization registries
This article provides an update to a previous study that analysed some of the cost savings that would result from implementing a nationwide immunization registry in the United States of America. In addition to cost savings in the healthcare system, there could also be savings in the educational system (i.e. schools) as school personnel would no longer need to manually retrieve immunization records from vaccination cards. This article gives estimated figures for those savings in the educational system.
