Deep Dive on Big Catch-Up Monitoring in Madagascar
The Big Catch-Up (BCU) is a global initiative launched in April 2023 to close immunization gaps caused by the decline in immunization coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic. Countries have received guidelines for monitoring and the requirements for reporting on the BCU. As countries transition from the application phase to the implementation phase, it is important for them to showcase progress made in monitoring BCU, share lessons learned, and identify challenges requiring support. The Madagascar country team shared their experiences during a three-level call on Friday, 9th, 2024, between 1 pm and 2:30 pm EAT. The session was interpreted and is available in French, too.
