Why gender matters for equity in immunization - TechNet Conference 2023
Gender-related barriers and inequality hinder vaccination. To improve immunization rates, we must consider gender roles and norms in service planning. Gender affects both demand (health-seeking behavior) and supply (health services). By using gender-aware strategies, we can enhance immunization programs and broaden coverage for everyone.
