From paper to e-records: Vietnam’s electronic immunization registry fact sheet
This factsheet details PATH's decade long support for the development of a National Immunization Information System (NIIS), from pilot to scale up, and the current Introducing Digital Immunization information systems - Exchange And Learning from Vietnam (IDEAL-Vietnam) project, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. IDEAL-Vietnam supports Vietnam's transition from paper records to a completely paperless immunization record system, documenting the successes and challenges along the way in order to guide and encourage stakeholders all around the world to make the transition to digital and increase access to life-saving vaccines globally.
