État de la confiance envers les vaccins et de la demande mondiale de vaccins

Cette présentation, organisée par GAVI, l’OMS, l’UNICEF et les CDC des États-Unis, examine l’état mondial de la confiance et de la demande en matière de vaccins, en mettant l’accent sur les défis aggravés par la COVID-19. Même avant la pandémie, de nombreux enfants n’avaient pas accès aux vaccins vitaux, et les perturbations depuis 2020 ont augmenté le nombre d’enfants « zéro dose », en particulier dans les zones reculées, les quartiers urbains défavorisés et les contextes de conflit. L’hésitation vaccinale, déclarée par l’OMS comme l’une des dix principales menaces pour la santé publique, a été exacerbée par la désinformation, les barrières liées au genre et les problèmes d’accès logistique. Le rapport met en lumière les facteurs comportementaux et sociaux influençant la vaccination — tels que la perception du risque, la confiance, les normes sociales et l’accessibilité des services — tout en présentant des réponses ciblées de pays comme l’Indonésie, le Soudan du Sud, le Pakistan et le Nigéria. Les stratégies clés incluent la mobilisation communautaire, la communication adaptée, la lutte contre la désinformation et l’intégration de la vaccination dans d’autres services de santé. L’objectif global est de rétablir la vaccination systématique, de combler les écarts en matière d’équité et de maintenir la confiance du public dans les vaccins.
