The SAGE October 2016 meeting report has been published in the WHO Weekly Epidemiological Record. SAGE reviewed relevant data and evidence, advised and made recommendations on various complex and critical issues including:

  • Global Vaccine Action Plan: 2016 mid-term review of progress and recommendations
  • Maternal and neonatal tetanus elimination (MNTE) and broader tetanus prevention
  • Measles and rubella elimination
  • Hepatitis B vaccination
  • Schedules and strategies for human papillomavirus (HPV) immunization
  • Yellow fever
  • Polio eradication
