WHO, UNICEF and JICA are collaborating to develop practical guidance to strengthen implementation of home-based records.  As part of this effort, we are collecting existing tools that support home-based records implementation.  We are looking for the most recent version of formal documents and tools which:

  • focus on the improvement of home-based records implementation (handbooks, training guides, checklists, etc.).
  • focus on reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health, including vaccines, nutrition, growth and development and early child development.
  • are published after 2010 (or if still in use, we will accept published before 2010).
  • in any language. (However, we would prefer an English version if available.)

Please send (in electronic format) any tools that you have developed or know of to [email protected].  If you prefer, we can send you a link where you can upload the document rather than sending by email; please write (to the email address that is mentioned above) and let us know. If the tool meets our inclusion criteria, we will contact you to ask for any reports regarding the evaluation of the tool and/or lessons learned in using the tool.

We will be collecting tools until 20 August 2020.

Many thanks for your collaboration!

Bhutan is using MCH handbook as home-based record which contains Immunization components attached below.

Please note that the MCH handbook uploaded earlier is a government document, and so not for wider circulation but for use by members only.

Thanks
