This note provides a supply note highlighting information on seasonal influenza vaccines. It addresses key issues related to the vaccines’ production cycles for the northern and southern hemispheres, procurement, and supply to enable countries to secure timely access to the required type and quantity of vaccines. Due to COVID-19, the global demand for seasonal influenza vaccines is increasing. UNICEF emphasises the need for countries to forecast and finance their requirements in good time before their respective influenza season.
