Our online panel discussion, held on 30 January 2024 and titled Sustainable Financing for Immunisation: MENA Countries share their lessons learnt on how to build an investment case, included a presentation by UNICEF Senior Adviser Ulla Kou Griffiths on how to create and use an investment case for new vaccine introductions. Then, government representatives from Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia shared their experience with the process of introducing a new vaccine and highlighted its key steps, the challenges faced and best practice found, while focusing on how investment cases or other types of evidence can be useful to secure government funding.
