You’re invited to join a Q&A Forum hosted by Vaccinate Your Family (VYF) on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, from 2 to 3 p.m. ET.The forum is intended to be a conversation about the process of approving COVID-19 vaccines and how the IIS and immunization communities can work together with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to inform the public about these potentially life-saving vaccines.
Next week’s forum will be the first in a series of webinars where partners can learn about the latest happenings around the federal response to COVID-19, including vaccine development and approval, distribution plans, prioritization plans, and communicating with the public to make sure life-saving vaccines are fairly, equitably, and rapidly disseminated to our communities. The forum will feature Julie Tierney, Chief of Staff at FDA’s Center for Biologics, Evaluation, and Research; Ami Pisani, VYF Executive Director; and Sarah Despres, Chair, VYF Board of Directors.
