PtD Global Indaba

12-13 October

What: The PtD Global Indaba

When: 12 and 13 October, 2022

Where: The Radisson Blu Hotel, Lusaka, Zambia

After postponements and pandemics, we have set a date for the PtD Global Indaba: 12 and 13 October, 2022 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lusaka, Zambia! The main event will take place on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 October, while Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 October will be reserved for workshops.

The PtD steering committee, which comprises several coalition members (PtD, the International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL), SAPICS, Pharmaceutical Systems Africa and Management Sciences for Health (MSH)) has been meeting regularly over the past two years in the hope of finally being able to set a date for the Indaba. And now the time has come! We are carefully moving forward with organising the event.

What is the PtD Global Indaba?

The Indaba is an international forum with a dedicated focus on HR for SCM. It will provide a space to present and share the significant experiences and knowledge that has been generated in this area in recent years. The theme of the Indaba is the missing link to maximising supply chain performance highlighting the growing importance of workforce development in health supply chains, and the recognition of the urgent need for action.

Registration and abstract submission

Registration will open in early April and those interested will be able to register on the PtD Global Indaba website.

Early bird registration will be available until 12 August at the reduced fee of USD 250. The registration fee will then increase to USD 300 per person. Needless to say, we encourage you all to register and to join us in Lusaka! Francophones are also invited to register: simultaneous interpretation will be offered in French during the plenary sessions.

Abstract submissions are welcomed and should document the work of your organisation or independent operations research, in line with our theme and sub-themes, to be considered for an oral or poster presentation and/or workshop at the PtD Global Indaba. Abstracts from both private and public sector organisations are encouraged, as are abstract submissions in French.
