You are invited to a new TechNet webinar series on Strategies for optimizing Covid-19 vaccine distribution.

 

This webinar series has several sessions that will discuss different strategies for optimizing vaccine distribution and use in various contexts. Speakers from different countries and partner agencies will share their experiences and lessons learnt on topics such as ensuring gender equality in accessing COVID-19 vaccines and other life-saving interventions, establishing traceability systems to ensure only quality vaccines are distributed, designing supply chain systems capable of managing multiple vaccine products with varying storage and handling requirements, and integrating COVID-19 vaccine delivery into the national immunization programmes.

Vous êtes invité à une nouvelle série de webinaires TechNet sur les Stratégies d'optimisation de la distribution des vaccins contre la COVID-19. Chaque session sera conduite en français et fera l'objet d'une interprétation française.

Cette série de webinaires comprend plusieurs sessions qui aborderont différentes stratégies pour optimiser la distribution et l'utilisation des vaccins contre la COVID-19 dans divers contextes. Des intervenants de différents pays partageront leurs expériences et les leçons apprises sur des sujets tels que la garantie de l'égalité des genres en matière d'accès aux vaccins contre la COVID-19 et à d'autres interventions vitales, la mise en place de systèmes de traçabilité pour garantir que seuls des vaccins de qualité sont distribués, la conception de systèmes de chaîne d'approvisionnement capables de gérer plusieurs produits vaccinaux avec des exigences de stockage et de manipulation variables, et l'intégration de la livraison du vaccin COVID-19 dans les programmes nationaux de vaccination. 

Les sessions seront en anglais avec interprétation française.

The next webinar in our series on Strategies for optimizing Covid-19 vaccine distribution will take place on Thursday, July 7, at 3pm CEST.

 

Session 2: Verification & traceability of COVID-19 vaccine

This session will explore the verification and traceability of COVID-19 vaccines. There will be a review of the current efforts and perspectives on labeling of vaccines, followed by a presentation of TRVST, an multi-stakeholder initiative to provide countries with a repository of health product data, and tools for traceability and verification of COVID-19 vaccines and any other health product. The presentation will include the ongoing country experience of implementing this system at national scale.
