A systematic literature review of missed opportunities for immunization in low- and middle-income countries
Highlights: •First systematic review of missed opportunities for immunization (MOI) since 1993; •Study assessed children and women of childbearing age in lower income countries; •MOI prevalence was 32% among children and 47% among women; •MOI prevalence was similar in every region and did not change over the study period; •Reasons for MOI were extensive precluding standardized solutions.
